"Creative Commons is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to making it easier for people to share and build upon the work of others, consistent with the rules of copyright.
We provide free licenses and other legal tools to mark creative work with the freedom the creator wants it to carry, so others can share, remix, use commercially, or any combination thereof."

This wiki will provide a general overview of the Creative Commons concept, and will describe how to locate free, copyright-friendly text, music, photos and video and will also explain how to cite the content you use. Use the links on the right to navigate through the wiki.
I am not an expert in copyright rules or guidelines, just an educator looking for content that is free to use legally for K-12 curriculum and presentations. Please feel free to contact me or request membership to this wiki to make edits if you know of any misinformation contained in this wiki.
Paula :)
